I hope I am not out of line here......BUT i felt it necessary to share my recent experience at Disneyland in southern CA. I went in to purchase an annual pass, and I was told that they needed "proof" of my southern CA residency.
Since i am new to Southern CA, I explained that my license was not yet changed over but the bank card I would be using require a zip code and at the point of purchase they would have proof that I lived in SoCal.
long story short the woman behind the counter told me she needed to "see" an actual bill or something with my name and address. I said "great, i have my Blackberry here and I can just pull up my phone bill online (i think, I like almost everyone on this site received all of my bills electronically to do my part to minimize deforestation)
I was told "NO"...."we need to see a bill" ..... i was like you ARE seeing a bill ELECTRONICALLY. This was not acceptable to Disney, they REQUIRED a PRINTED copy of a bill
So I would like everyone that reads this to please do 2 things 1) forward this ridiculous policy to as many people as possible and 2) ask them to join you in writing or calling Disney and reminding them that they have a responsibility to our planet.

Heck if copies of electronic bills are good enough for the IRS it should be good enough for an annual pass at Disneyland........
