Built Green Communities
In Washington there is an environmental housing certification program called Built Green. The photo here shows a bioswale planted with native and non-native flood and drought tolerant plants adjacent to a pervious sidewalk. This is in the Built Green community of High Point in Seattle, WA. My husband and I moved into this community in July 2007.
