Britta Water Filters

Well it's time for me to clean out my research drawer for recycling, I'll start with my Britta Filters. I probably have 20 empty filters. I searched online for recycling information & found that
Brita doesn't currently recycle their filters. Then I found this link to
nudge Britta, so I followed the prompts to let them know that I'd like them to start a recycle program.

For the time being I will mail my filters to the TAKE BACK THIS FILTER program. For more information please go to:

After I forwarded this onto some friends one of them told me about
a water filter system that has 90% less waste. The Aqua Select water filter jug from the UK uses a pitcher that you can change out the charcoal, bypassing the disposable cartridge.
